We are pleased to announce that Kristi Favard became a Shareholder (owner) of Anderson Hunter on January 1, 2012.  Kristi joined Anderson Hunter in February, 2010 after practicing in Seattle. Her practice focuses on Construction, Real Estate, Environmental Law, Commercial Litigation and Indian Law.

Chris Knapp has been appointed to the Board of Trustees  for Economic Alliance Snohomish County.  He will also serve on the EASC Executive Committee.

In January 2011, Jeffrey Wishko joined the Anderson Hunter Law Firm after practicing for twenty years as a trial lawyer with the Bell & Ingram firm in Everett.  He will continue his commercial and business litigation practice at AH, where he is a Principal with the firm.

More and more adult children are finding themselves in the position of caring for their aging parents.  A difficult but essential part of that relationship is participating in the planning for end of life decisions.  Fortunately, Washington law gives individuals a broad range of alternatives when confronting these issues. 

When you go to the doctor and have your annual physical, a record of that encounter is created.  In the old days your doctor would hand-write a note or dictate comments to be transcribed into your chart.  Today she will likely type an entry into your electronic medical record, which you can view on-line.  You may be left wondering:  “Does my healthcare information belong to me, or to my doctor?”

We welcome Kristi Favard as an Associate Attorney with Anderson Hunter.  Kristi joined the firm in February.  She has been practicing law since 2003 and brings her experience in litigation and construction law.

Michael Kvistad became a Shareholder with Anderson Hunter on January 1, 2010.  Michael's  practice emphasizes foreclosure, collection, real estate and general business.
