Laurie Ummel

Laurie has been at Anderson Hunter since 2004. The majority of her practice focuses on complex family law matters, including dissolution and contested custody disputes.  She also handles third party custody and dependency cases, child support issues, adoptions, protection and anti-harassment orders and prenuptial agreements.

In 2009 Laurie was recognized as a “Rising Star” by Washington Law and Politics Magazine in the area of family law.

Prior to joining Anderson Hunter, Laurie worked as a criminal prosecutor for the City of Everett, and from 1992 to 2001 was a high school Social Studies teacher at Mountlake Terrace High School in the Edmonds School District.

Laurie lives in Everett.
