Commissioners

The Board of Commissioners of the Housing Authority of Snohomish County is made up of six citizens, one of whom is a program participant, each appointed by the County Executive and approved by the County Council. Commissioners serve five year staggered terms.

Commissioner Chauncey Boyle
Everett

Manager of Providence Peter Claver House, Low Income Senior Property, in New Holly Development in Seattle, active Board member for Providence General Foundation. Appointed to the Board of Commissioners in 1998.


Commissioner Janet Clark
Everett

Care giver with training and interest in special needs children and adults. Has served on the Housing Authority’s Resident Advisory Board, supports and participates in local charity efforts.  Appointed to the Board of Commissioners in 2009.


Commissioner Elizabeth Erickson
Mukilteo

Owner of Real Estate Brokerage Company, Gallery Homes, in Mukilteo. Instructor at North Seattle Community College teaching real estate business practices. Served 11 years on Mukilteo YMCA Board of Directors and active in several local community events. Commissioner Erickson was awarded Mukilteo Citizen of the Year in September 2011.  Appointed to the Board of Commissioners in 2007.


Commissioner Larry Goulet
Everett

Manager with Rubatino Refuse Removal. Former high school teacher, Dean of Students and Director of Campus Ministry. Active member and past President of Everett Port Gardner Rotary. Appointed to the Board of Commissioners in 2005.


Chair, Commissioner Philip G. Lewis, III
Stanwood

Deacon, St Aidan's Episcopal Church. Consultant in management systems, productivity, and organization development. Past President of Stanwood Chamber of Commerce and Vice President of Freedom Park Association. Appointed to the Board of Commissioners in 2002.


Commissioner Kyoko Matsumoto Wright
Mountlake Terrace

Real Estate Agent with Coldwell Banker Bain. Mountlake Terrace Councilmember since 2008.  Served on the Mountlake Terrace Planning Commission, Past President of Snohomish County Camano Association of Realtors. Appointed to the Board of Commissioners in 2006.


Commissioner Emeritus Leo Gese
Lynnwood

Retired attorney, one of the founders of the Housing Authority and a Commissioner since 1971, a member of the National Association of Housing & Redevelopment Official's International Committee and recipient of NAHRO's John D. Lange International award for his contribution toward international understanding and exchange of experience. Appointed non-voting Emeritus status in 1998 by the County in recognition of his many years of service to the Housing Authority.

The Board of Commissioners meets monthly, generally at noon on the third Tuesday of the month.
