HASCO’s Project-based Voucher program provides a rental subsidy for units owned by HASCO, private and non-profit property owners throughout Snohomish County. The YWCA of Seattle – King – Snohomish County, Catholic Community Services, Housing Hope, Volunteers of America, Stanwood Senior Center and Senior Services of Snohomish County partner with HASCO to provide 349 units of housing at 22 different sites in the County. All of these properties either pair housing with supportive services for families or provide housing to elderly and disabled households
Tenants residing in Project-based units pay 30 percent of their income for rent and utilities, and the balance of their housing costs are paid by the program. Tenants in Project-based units are assisted as long as they live in the unit and continue to qualify for the program.
