Your website should be a living breathing extension of who you are as a business person and what your business means to the world. The only way this is going to happen is if you get off your duff and start producing some simple content that can be seen by the rest of the world.
A website without frequently updated and unique content is nothing more than a fancy internet brochure. If there's nothing new to see or experience at your website there's no motivation for people or search engines to visit your site. Basic math.
