  Are you planning a summer vacation?  Have you thought about your pet's vacation?  Now is the time to think about both.

  A big thankyou to all the doggy daycare customers who donated to OLD Dog Haven at our Christmas Party.  We raised over $1500 in cash and food donations in one day.

  Our Christmas Doggy Daycare Party will be Thursday December 22nd.  Just like last year, the daycare price for that day will be a donation to old dog haven.  We will have a raffle and doggy christmas gifts for all dogs.  Stay tuned for a wish list from Old Dog Haven.

  We are once again a sponsor for Scrub a Mutt, a fund raising and dog event.  Make sure swing by our booth and say hello.  This year's event is Saturday, August 20th, 2011.

  PAWS (Progressive Animal Welfare Soceity) is having its annual PAWSwalk September 10, 2011 in Magnuson Park.  Noel Heide is heading up the K9 Korral team.  We are looking for walkers and sponsors to join the team.

  A big THANKYOU to everyone who donated to our Old Dog Haven fundraiser.  On December 23rd, we waived all doggy daycare charges in lieu of donations to Old Dog Haven and our customers  responded by donating over $1000 in badly needed cash, food and bedding in one day.  Our Santa's sleigh will be out through New Years weekend and we are hoping to fill it again, raising that total.

Winter time can present some challenges to keeping your dog both safe and comfortable.  Here are a few tips.

   One downside to our mild winter last year is fleas and spiders this year.  If your pet is not on a routine flea treatment, for their comfort you may want to get your pet on one.  This appears to the year of the flea.
