Who We Are

Experiencing God in worship  - we are a presence of God based church that focuses on experiencing the life-changing power of God through a personal relationship with him – not just knowing about God but knowing and experiencing the unconditional love of the Father in every area of our lives. As we worship God, both individually and corporately, God’s presence is there to heal us, guide us, and set us free to live abundant lives. It’s our desire and prayer that people who come to Elevation Church come to genuinely seek, worship and deepen their relationship with the person of Jesus Christ, not only to hear a person speak or to feel like they’ve satisfied a religious requirement.

Equipping believers to live the Word – the written word of God is our road map to life. By knowing, understanding, and living out the truth in God’s word we will be equipped to overcome every obstacle and fulfill God’s destiny for our lives. This equipping can’t just occur in a once a week service, but through small group discipleship and individual and family bible study as well. As we deepen our understanding of the word of God, we also begin to understand each other better and our love for God and others extends like deep roots into the ground making us strong, stable and full of life and godly fruit. We are committed at Elevation to learning, loving, and living the word at every age level within the church.

Expanding the kingdom of God – We are a missions focused church that emphasizes ministry that happens “outside the four walls”. In Hebrews the bible says that Christ endured the agony of he cross “for the joy set before him”. That joy Jesus saw was every soul that would come to him and receive salvation, love, acceptance and purpose through a relationship with him. That kind of compassion for others in our friendships, our community and our world is the driving force for us to share the good news of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Christ calls us to “go into the streets and invite anyone you can – our goal is to do just that both in our personal lives and as a church body through regular outreach events and foreign mission trips.
