(LYNNWOOD, WA), The Lynnwood Convention Center would like to welcome David Jones as Sales Manager, specializing in the corporate market. With over 28 years of hotel and event experience, David is well-versed in the hospitality industry. Most recently, David was the Sales Manager for the Courtyard by Marriott in Lynnwood, WA.  

(LYNNWOOD, WA), SMG, the worldwide leader in convention and entertainment management, is proud to announce that the Washington State Floor Covering Association (WSFCA) is returning to the Lynnwood Convention Center on February 29th for the Market - NW Design Showcase of Interior Solutions.

(LYNNWOOD, WA), Have you ever attended an event, looked around at some of the empty chairs and wondered... "What are they going to do with all the leftover food?"  Well, at the Lynnwood Convention Center we partner with the Lynnwood Food Bank to help feed the hungry or homeless of Lynnwood. As a way to give back to the community, any food left from an event is donated on a daily/weekly basis to help provide meals for needy families. The Lynnwood Convention Center donates nearly 1,100 pounds each year.

(LYNNWOOD, WA), The Lynnwood Convention Center would like to welcome Greg Lowry as General Manager. Greg has over 20 years experience working in the events industry. Before moving to the northwest, he was employed by SMG in Denver, Colorado at the Colorado Convention Center where he participated in the grand opening of the $340 million dollar expansion. Working in conjunction with Visit Denver, he oversaw sales and booking of all events at the Colorado Convention Center. Greg and the Colorado Convention Center SMG Sales Team successfully wrote, negotiated and executed nearly 400 event agreements every year. Prior to the Colorado Convention Center, he was employed by SMG in Memphis, Tennessee at the Pyramid Arena where he was responsible for all areas of marketing, advertising and public relations for the 20,000 seat arena. While at The Pyramid, Lowry worked with the NBA Memphis Grizzlies Basketball program national touring concerts and family spectaculars.

The Artist Reception will be held at the Lynnwood Convention Center October 19th from 6pm - 8pm and is free to the public.

(LYNNWOOD, WA), The Lynnwood Public Facilities District is proud to announce that the Lynnwood Convention Center received a clean audit for the 2010 calendar year, according to a report issued by the State Auditor's Office on Tuesday, October 4, 2011.
