Announcing the winners of NED's Writing Contest!

In November The NED Show invited students from around the world to participate in our first ever writing contest.  Six schools opted to host their own writing contests, with over 3000 students participating.  Our headquarters received over 550 official entries. Judging was a delight, as the level of writing and creativity was exceptional across the board.  We were excited by what we read and thank you for being an example of how NED’s message can make an impact at school, at home and in life.

Drumroll please….
Congratulations to our winners!

Video Contest Results Are In!

The NED Show launched its first ever Video Contest in the Spring of 2011. The call for entries went out to every school that had NED visit during the 2010-2011 school year and students from all grade levels were invited to share how they have been using the NED message in school and in life. When all the videos were collected, six videos received prizes that ranged from a Flip MiniHD video camera to shopping sprees on the Shop NED online store. The entries we received were incredibly creative!

Our first place video was submitted by Mr. Williams’ 6th grade class at Panorama Elementary in Santa Ana, California. In this video, two news anchors take a look around their elementary school to discover what each letter in the NED message stands for, and through their discoveries they both realize what it takes to become a champion. You will find that it’s a delight to watch.
